On January 26, 2021 at approximately 6:18PM, Williamsburg Police Department Officer Eddie Cain arrested 47 year-old Elizabeth Jones, following a complaint of counterfeit currency.
Jones is accused of passing counterfeit money at the Williamsburg Sav-A-Lot. When Jones was arrested, she was found to be in possession of a counterfeit one hundred dollar bill and additional counterfeit money. She was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument 1st degree. Officer Cain is continuing the investigation.
